MATRIX RECRUITMENT is currently recruiting for a PRODUCTION OPERATIVE/Fork Lift Driver to work for our Client in Co. Kildare, in a CONTRACT role. You will work as part of multi-skilled Operations Team operating in a pro-active, hands-on way. Your new job. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that product is processed in accordance to company process and procedures and in compliance with ISO and all quality requirements. Ensure that machines and equipment are utilized to maximum efficiency when in use and stored away correctly for reuse. Be responsible for day-to-day care and cleaning of all equipment e.g. packing and filling equipment in area and reporting of any defects to maintenance personnel. Co-operate with future technical, system bar-coding or administrative developments to improve output and overall plant efficiency. Plant Hygiene standards must be adhered always. Comply with all Company Safety Policies & Procedures and be proactively involved in Safety initiatives. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor and Production Manager. What are we looking for? PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: At least 2 years’ experience of working in a Manufacturing environment is essential . Strong quality orientation and attention to detail. Up to date certification as a Forklift truck driver. Good team player and working abilities. Demonstrates and understands production needs and requirements. Computer literate.
