REVENUE MANAGER, SOUTH EAST. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revenue Manager to join the team of a renowned property in the South East. As Revenue Manager, you will implement revenue operations and oversee all procedures and best practices to lead the team through effective and measurable initiatives. You will influence decisions in the hotel from service standards, room rates and business development opportunities in conjunction with the General Manager. The role: " Work closely with the sales and reservations team and train in selling/negotiating techniques where necessary. " Develop and evaluate pricing strategies and weekly/monthly revenue reports highlighting areas of possible growth. " Manage website booking engine and ensure all rates are up to date. " Liaise with the Sales Director to maximize opportunities from each conference, tour series, event and group booking. " Manage room and rate availability to maximize revenue by developing and implementing up-sell initiatives throughout the hotel. " Monitor market segments, up-sell results and GDS reviews, OTA's and FIT's. " Manage daily operations of the reservations and front office team and monitor competitive analysis on a constant basis. What's required? " Hotel Management Qualification or equivalent. " 4 years' experience working in hotel revenue management or similar role. " Strong and likeable personality to achieve goals and develop relationships. " Experience and strong knowledge of: Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables and other database use. " Good knowledge of Channel Manager, GDS, Extranets and PMS systems, There is a very attractive and competitive salary on offer for excellent candidates.
