Our client, a leading Wexford based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a Engineering Manager to join their team for a 12 month contract. THE ROLE. As the Engineering Manager you will. Provide technical support for the day to day operation of the manufacturing plant. Lead a team on significant strategic projects. Have responsibility for overseeing some of the Engineering team. If you are looking to take the next step in your career or are looking for your next contract role then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. THE PERSON. Engineering degree or equivalent. Masters Degree in Lean Operations, Engineering or equivalent an advantage. Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt an advantage. Greater than 10 years’ technical supervision and 5 years in management: Experience managing an engineering function within a high volume labour intensive manufacturing environment in the medical device or healthcare sector. Experience of the supervision of technical and maintenance resources. Ability to coordinate, plan and efficiently organise substantial engineering and maintenance resources.
