Our client is currently recruiting for a Demand Planner reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Associate Director, based in Carlow. Job Specification. Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of commercial products. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Requirements. SAP-APO Experience is a must. Rapid Response software usage is a distinct advantage. Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical GMP systems is essential. Bachelor Degree in a Science/Engineering related discipline or equivalent is required. Considerable experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired.
