The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate must be an Auto Electrician or Mechanic, with some previous experience. Job role and responsibilities You will be based in the garage and responsible for carrying out installation, service and maintenance of various types of vehicles and commercial vehicles. We are looking for individuals with hands on experience with HGVs, light commercials and other specialist vehicles are a must. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate. Your duties will include: To install, service and maintain a range of vehicles. To diagnose and resolve electrical faults. Installing products on our client’s vehicles. Testing & Commissioning of electrical appliances on vehicles. Dealing with queries and diagnosing faults. Stripping, fitting, and replacing components on vehicles. Repairing and Servicing electrical components fitted on vehicles. Reporting back to Manager. Maintaining own stock levels. Maintaining all aspects of Health & Safety. Updating client/vehicle details via our app. IT and PC literate. Required: Secondary education. Mechanical qualification desirable. Full driver’s license.
