MATRIX RECRUITMENT GROUP are actively looking for a PRODUCTION PLANNER . Our client is a leading food manufacturer operating within global markets. The location base is Co. Kilkenny. To plan and schedule customer orders against the plant’s capacity. Key Responsibilities: Work as part of the Production Planning team to deliver Department KPI’s. Utilise SAP planning systems to manage the supply plan. Create weekly production plans in SAP and track production variance to plan. Manage packaging/ingredients stocks to ensure availability to production requirement. Review finished product stocks vs. plan on a weekly basis. Manage Cheese outsourcing process. Target 100% finished product availability to forecasted demand – allocate stock to specific customer orders. Segregate and highlight ‘non customer driven’ product – facilitate its sale/rework. Rebalance the overall finished product supply plan on a monthly basis using SAP Integrated Planning. Work closely with Customer Service, Production and Grading to meet customer expectations and supply plan. Qualifications. 3+ years’ experience in a Production Planning role – within a high volume, process manufacturing environment. APICS or similar qualification preferred but not essential. Experience. Experience in the use of SAP planning tools is desirable. High level of competence with Microsoft Excel. Ability to work on own initiative. Goodcommunicator, decision maker, team player. Other. High energy with strong planning and commercial credibility. Excellent interpersonal skills. A good balance of analytical and creative thinking skills.
