Position: Junior Health and Safety. Location: Wexford. Salary: Negotiable. Due to continued growth and expansion a leading Irish Main Contractor, currently have a requirement for a Health & Safety Officer, based in Wexford. Successful candidate must have previous experience in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits but is not limited to: Relevant Health and Safety certification. 2-3 years’ or more experience. Experience working on pharmaceutical projects. Coordinating all EHS Matters with Project Management Team. Liaise with Client and ensure compliance with Client requirements if relevant. Operating accredited Environment / Safety Management System, updating files, auditing sub-contractor files etc. Generating, Updating & Reviewing EHS Plans. Reviewing and Advising on Method Statements. Investigation of and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions as a result of an incident or from preventative measures from previous roles. Safe Pass / Manual Handling. Implementation of Risk Assessments. Capable of conducting Tool Box Talks.
