Our leading manufacturing client based in Wexford is looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join their team. This is a high level position and you will be responsible for compliance on all technical matters relating to quality assurance and standards. The Role. Manage the facility from a technical, quality assurance and standards point of view. Lead, develop and inspire the technical function. Work with senior management to facilitate a robust compliance culture. Maintain process and product technical parameters in accordance with company standards and protocols. Maintain, adapt and continuously improve the comprehensive technical, quality assurance and standards policies, manuals, systems, SOP’s etc. Communicate both operating and compliance standards to all staff and ensure they understand and implement such standards continuously. Work closely with the Health & Safety manager to maintain appropriate Health & Safety standards and a safe place of work. Oversee internal compliance auditing, identify all areas of non-compliance (if any) and manage accordingly. The Person. A 3 rd Level Diploma and 5 years experience in a similar or higher level role with responsibility for a technical/ quality assurance/ standards environment OR alternatively 9 years’ work experience at an appropriate level in lieu of a degree. A proven track record of managing a technical team. Experience with ISO9000 and EPA licences would be beneficial. Good people management skills and excellent communication skills.
