What you need to know. You will work as a Lean Engineer for our client, an indigenous Irish food company in the South East. With a large Global footprint, our client’s products are distributed in over 130 countries and are a leading company in the food industry. As the Lean Engineer you will report into the Business Process Improvement Manager and you will play a key role in ensuring the in-house lean process is embedded on site. This is a permanent role. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Facilitate the development and implementation of business process improvement projects. Organise and facilitate workshops on process improvement/value stream mapping across the site. Work with all areas of the business to seek out opportunities for the elimination of waste and non-value added activity. Coordinate of the overall Lean Process activities. Manage the implementation of the Lean Process training plan. Strive to reduce costs and improve efficiencies across the site. What are we looking for? Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a production environment . Third level degree in Engineering or equivalent. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualification. Knowledge of FMECA and experience working with SAP. Visio & ERP Systems and MIS Systems knowledge from a manufacturing environment. Apply for this job now or get in touch with Sarah on 051 353825.
