EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED FOR HOTEL IN THE SOUTH EAST. We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a popular hotel's finance team. The role: Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the finance function. You will prepare monthly management accounts & variance analysis reports, budgets, bank reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, accruals/ prepayments. Working on the development of financial controls and compliance you will liaise with auditors at year end. You will work closely with Heads of Departments and colleagues to achieve financial targets, ensuring the highest standard of accuracy is implemented and maintained in hotel accounts & administrative procedures. The candidate: Must be part qualified or a qualified accountant, Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry desirable, but not essential. Strong communication & customer service skills is essential. Excellent financial acumen. Displays an interest in problem solving and simplification of processes.
